It would be a written test based on Campus Placement which will comprise of general Mathematics, English and Reasoning etc.

21st JAN GRE/GMAT
We are inviting experts to guide why and how to prepare for entrance test to take admission in the top-notch universities of the world. This interactive session would brief us about how to prepapre for foreign education and how to plan to go aborad for higher education. Timing 6.00 p.m.-7.30 p.m. at B-407. Maximum of 90 entries would be registered.
24th JAN GATE
To persue M.Tech from top colleges and universites of India, one needs to write GATE. Infact to get jobs in govt sector and teaching GATE scores matters a lot. 28th JAN PSUs (Public Sector Units)
This program is scheduled to guide and motivate BVMites to appear for govt examinations for the post of engineers.There are a lot of industries managed by govt of India or Govt of Gujarat. It follow a specific pattern. To discuss these minute details, it is scheduled.Timing 6.00 p.m.-7.30 p.m. at B-407. Maximum registration is for 90 candidates.
1st FEB MR. AND MISS. PROFESSIONAL CONTEST
This program is going to prepare you, how to groom yourself. Winners will be given an opportunity to represent BVM in Personality contest. It will be judged on the following grounds:
1. Dressing (25 marks)
2. Resume (25 marks)
3. Introduction in two minutes ( 20 marks)
4. three general questions ( 30 marks)

2nd FEB FILM REVIEW SPEAKING COMPETITION-1
Name of 30 movies would be declared by 20 Jan 2011. you will have to speak on that movie for three to four mintues (gujarati, hindi, English). Thirty students will be shortlisted for final round.Timing 6.00 p.m.-7.30 p.m. at B-407. Maximum registration is for 60 candidates.
4th FEB MANAGEMENT AS A CAREER OPTION

9th FEB FILM REVIEW SPEAKING COMPETITION-2
Shortlisted candidates in first round would be allowed in the final round. they will be given another list of films and then they are supposed to speak (4-5 mintues) in English or "Hindi ( 40% hindi and 60% english)".Timing 6.00 p.m.-7.30 p.m. at B-407. Maximum registration is for 60 candidates.
10th FEB DEBATE, ELOCUTION AND ANCHORING
To select the college team for debate and elocution (hindi and English), this contest will be arranged. Those who will perform well in "anchoring" (only in english)would be allowed to compere in the programs conducted at college level.Timing 6.00 p.m.-7.30 p.m. at B-407. 16th FEB KNOT THE TIE CONTEST,EXTEMPORE COMPETITION
This competition will be divided into two parts:
First part will be knot the tie contest. Here you would be given an opportunity to take part in on the spot fastest knot the tie contest.
In the second part there would be a box to select a paper chit, and would be given one minute to think and two minute to speak. Timing 6.00 p.m.-7.30 p.m. at B-407. Maximum registration is for 90 candidates.
17th FEB U.P.S.C
