Wish You Happy New Year 2010

Dear Aspirants!
I wish a great new year. Since we have been performing upto expectation. We have placed 28 in L&T, 26 in TCS, 5 in Ingersoll, 1 in Jeus Learning, 1 in Nomus Communication. 11 in Essar ( CIVIL waiting), 12 are shortlisted from BVM in Abellon Clean Energy. Collectively, it is a good performance compared to last couple of years.
We are trying hard to bring at least 10 more giants in next one month.
I believe we will cross 150 before feb 2010, and 200 before April and 250 before May 2010.
I trust with the blessings of our elders and genuine efforts of Placement Co-ordinators and students friends we will make it.
I trust we are going to have atleast 2 admission in IIMs and 10 top level management institues this year.
At the same time I am confident that we will send at least 20 students in IITs for M.Tech Programs from BVM and 40 in different premier institutions.
It is time to learn and perform. I wish Third year and Second year students will learn from seniors and will give us atleast double in comparison to 2010 passing outs.

Essar written is scheduled today at BVM 12 p.m. onwards for electrical and civil and 5.00 pm onwards for Mechanical.
So There is no written test tomorrow

Ø Arranged two days Experts Lectures conducted by L&T and TCS Officials on 22nd and 23rd December 2008 for final year students. Topic: Expectations of the industries from Fresh engineers and impact of recession on Campus recruitment.
Ø Arranged BVM Star Recognition Function (to promote first, second and third level students for P.G. Programs) and felicitated students who had secured more than 95 percentile and above in GATE, CAT like examinations. Principal Shri R.C.Desai, Director H.M.Patel Career Development Center chaired the function.
Ø Conducted 8 mock written tests for fourth level and two for third level to give a feel of campus recruitment written test.
Ø Conducted two days workshop “Corporate Skills Development” for fourth level students from 16th Sept to 17th Sept 2008 and Three days workshop “Corporate Recruitment Training” for third level students from 20th Oct to 22nd Oct 2008 under PDP Program conducted by Globarena.
Ø Three days Faculty Training Program conducted by INFOSYS at BVM (17 Faculties Participated from BVM) from 3rd June to 5th June 2009.
Ø Three days Faculty Training Program : 2 faculties attended this program at Gandhinagar on 6th June, 13 June, and 27 June 2009.
Ø Introductory lectures were arranged on: U.P.S.C. & G.P.S.C, and Importance of Post-Graduation. (GATE, CAT, GRE/GMAT) to promote first, second, third and forurth level students towards P.G. Programs and national level examinations.
Ø Inter-class quiz Competition conducted for all level on 5th Feb.
ØInter-class, debate, elocution and Presentation competition were arranged in Feb 2009.
Ø Medical Camp for third and fourth level was arranged on 30th June to avoid rejection on medical ground in campus recruitment.
ØSuccessful completion of One batch (69 Students) under Campus connect – INFOSYS Sept 2008-Jan 2009, Certificate distribution function was arranged on 25th June 2009, Dr. S.V.Vaishnav Sir, Joint Secretary-CVM chaired the function.
ØFacilitated more than 50 Students for Industrial training/ Industrial visit in various industries.
ØT&P Officer attended Training and Placement Officers’ one day meet at INFOSYS-Pune and L&T Power-Baroda in this academic year to be familiar with the expectations of industries and academia and Industrial relationship.
